Welcome to the inaugural article of profit blog formula, a site dedicated to helping you succeed in blogging and to build your very own blog empire.
From article creation to generating traffic, we share new and up to date tactics that will separate your blog from all the rest.
So without further ado, lets get straight into the first article.
I’ve been blogging since 2009, and I’ve heard all different kinds of tricks and tactics for traffic creation.
But the truth is, no matter how many tricks and tactics you apply to bring in quick traffic , it just won’t last.
There are certain pillars of traffic creation which are true time and time again, no matter what niche you’re in.
There is no other way.
They are the pillars of any good blog. I’m going to share with you 3 core components of a consistent and steady stream of blog traffic, where your audience will love your content and come back time after time.
Regular Commenting On Similar Blogs
Then you’ll want to comment on their posts as much as you can. Make sure you actually read the articles, and don’t just say “Great article!”.
Leave useful comments, as those blog readers will then see your comment and check out your blog.
Most blog commenting systems let you put in your website, make sure to put in yours in.
Here’s an example I’ve left on a blog similar to my niche:
This method brings in relevant traffic, not a variety of people who may or may not be interested in what your saying.
By leaving good content inside the comments section, the people who love your advice are instantly your audience.
They will want to know what you have to say.
So leave great content, and you’ll be receiving targeted traffic, who will return.
You want to find forums and online discussions related to your blog and be active in the community.
The best way I’ve found is to just type in: “your niche + forum” or “your niche + community”.
Not only do you have to be active, you want a way for them to check out your blog from there.
I recommend putting a link to your blog in the “signatures” area, most forums have these.
So when you leave awesome advice, people naturally want to know who you are, and if you leave a link to your blog they will come check it out. Simple but very effective.
Write Guest Posts
When I first started blogging this was something I religious avoided.
I felt I wasn’t good enough to share my material and no blog would ever want to host it.
After a while I crafted my article writing skills and began to do better research, which boosted my confidence which in turn improved the quality of my articles.
Guest blogging brings in the right traffic.
When you go on a popular blog and see a guest post on there, you automatically assume that the writer has a valuable blog.
A good way to find popular blogs to guest post on is to use a tool called Alltop.com.
A great way of finding blogs which are open to guest posts is to simply google:
Your keyword + write for us or Your keyword + submit guest post
Then it’s just a matter of contacting the admin and sending them your article. Make sure that your content is the best you’ve ever written, or one of the best.
Many people don’t want to do this as they think that really good posts should be on their own blog, but the quality of traffic coming in will be worth it. People who come to your blog from an amazing article are more likely to stay longer and even become a regular visitor.
When emailing the page admin, keep these points in mind:
1. Keep it short
Most popular blogs receive a lot of emails everyday, so don’t waste their time with unnecessary questions and comments.
2. Keep it friendly
Don’t sound too serious and like your conducting business. Start with “Hi (their name)”, and sound like your’e talking to friend.
3. Show that you understand their blog
Mention some clash royale of their articles which you think you’ve improved on, or even mention a few articles which can all be covered with your article. You don’t want to come off as someone spamming as many sites as they can.
Have Self Belief
Here’s a bonus tip for anyone serious about having a successful blog. Set an intention to yourself right now that you’re blog is going to be successful. See the end goal in mind. Visualise your blog receiving hundreds of comments per post, and being shared around the web.
The biggest block to your blogging success is your own belief, which are clouded with thoughts such as “I’m not good enough”, “I can’t do this”, most likely stemming from your childhood.
They have no place in reality. So make it a practice to visualise your blog getting big, with lots of monthly followers, plenty of shares and even being featured in large websites. Doing this often (5-10 minutes per day) will slowly unwind those limiting beliefs and replace it with beliefs of success. It works! Try it
